Injury Eddie Lacy misses practice Wednesday
Courd return Thursday
By: Mike Krueger | Wed Sep 10, 12:58 pm

Green Bay Packers
It's too early in the week to rule out RB Eddie Lacy (concussion) or rule in OT Bryan Bulaga (knee), but the return of TE Brandon Bostick (leg) looks pretty promising as the Packers got back to work Wednesday. Lacy did not participate in practice, but the fact he was present is a good sign for him. Typically, players coming off concussions usually attend practice as part of the final stages of the recovery process, so it's possible Lacy could be back on Thursday when the team practices in full pads. (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel)

FFToday's Take: Lucy is recovering from a concussion suffered in Week 1 against the Seahawks. Chances are good that he will get cleared before Sunday's game. James Starks would get the start if Lacy can't go.

Injury Packers' TE Brandon Bostick out Week 1
Richard Rodgers will get the start
By: Mike Krueger | Wed Sep 3, 3:30 pm

Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers completed practice Wednesday before their scheduled flight to Seattle and released their final injury report for Week 1. TE Brandon Bostick (leg) - DNP - OUT (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel)

FFToday's Take: Rookie Richard Rodgers is expected to get the start and share tight end duties with Andrew Quarless. Neither is an ideal fantasy play given the Week 1 depth at the tight end position. Fantasy owners should let this situation play itself out before committing one of the Green Bay tight ends to a starting lineup.

Injury Packers tight end Lyeria has torn MCL, PCL
Knee injury occured in early August
By: Mike Krueger | Thu Aug 14, 7:30 am

Green Bay Packers
Rookie free agent Colt Lyerla, who is out indefinitely with a torn medial collateral ligament and a torn posterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, was asked if he'd like to return as a fullback rather than a tight end. "I wouldn't want to be, but I think I could be," replied Lyerla. "I guess it would depend on the offense." (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel)

FFToday's Take: Lyeria is likely headed for the IR or will be released with an injury settlement. The Packers tight end situation is shaping up to be a committee with Brandon Bostick, Richard Rodgers and Andrew Quarless all in the mix. Fantasy owners would be wise to avoid this situation come draft day until a frontrunner becomes apparent.
