2018 Outlook
Depth Chart
Cole made a late push in 2017 that brought his name to prominence. If you were bold enough to roll out the largely unproven wideout in weeks 13 through 16, it paid off. Cole was the top scoring receiver in the league over the last five weeks of the season averaging more the 13 FPts per game. And while his late season push provides some optimism, he wasn't heavily used in the playoffs, only 6 targets in three games, which can indicate a slight lack of trust.

Cole has arguably the highest ceiling of any of the Jaguars' receivers because of his field stretching style. If he's available in the final three or four rounds of 12-team leagues, he's worth a bench spot because he'll be easy to let go, if need be. The most likely outcome is that Cole ends up a boom-bust WR4 but keep an eye on training camp reports to see if he takes to lead role from Marqise Lee.

Injury Marqise Lee done for 2018
Sustained knee ligament damage in third preseason game
By: Doug Orth | Mon Aug 27, 5:30 pm

Jacksonville Jaguars
Jaguars’ WR Marqise Lee is being placed on injured reserve today. He suffered knee ligament damage Saturday night vs Atlanta on a hit that some believe is related to NFL’s rules changes. Lee’s season is over. (ESPN - Adam Schefter)

FFToday's Take: A tough break to say the least for the Jaguars' top receiver from a year ago. However, Jacksonville has the depth at the position to take the hit, as Keelan Cole likely moves into more of a primary pass-catching role in this offense - possibly giving him WR4 upside. This news also makes Dede Westbrook a player worth stashing in fantasy as a WR4/5. Donte Moncrief projected to be more of a red zone weapon before Lee's injury and may only see a minimal bump as a result of his absence.

Injury Marqise Lee carted off, knee injury
Doesn't look good
By: Mike Krueger | Sat Aug 25, 6:30 pm

Jacksonville Jaguars
Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Marqise Lee suffered a left knee injury when he was tackled by Atlanta Falcons safety Damontae Kazee midway through the first quarter of Saturday night's preseason game at TIAA Bank Field. The Jaguars' receiving corps came out onto the field to be with Lee as he was put onto a cart and left the field. (ESPN)

FFToday's Take: We'll have to wait for an official diagnosis but the injury didn't look good. Lee was penciled in as one of the Jags starting wideouts. If he is to miss any time, Dede Westbrook and Keelan Cole are likely to see an increased workload.
