|Austin Seferian-Jenkins returns to the state of Florida after two seasons with the Jets. His 2017 has moments of interest in weeks 5 through 7 when he scored touchdowns, but he largely fell flat through the rest of the season despite notching career high in targets.
ASJ replaces Marcedes Lewis who finished as the TE22 last season, but even that mediocre finish is slightly misleading. Nearly 40 percent of Lewis's fantasy points were in Week 3 when he scored three of his five touchdowns. While Seferian-Jenkins brings a slightly different style to the team, his value is limited to a streaming option in TE-positive matchups where he'll largely be touchdown dependent.

RB Brandon Wilds released

|*Sign RB Jamaal Charles, RB Dave Williams and TE David Grinnage...
* Release RB Brandon Wilds ...
*Place TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins, RB Corey Grant on injured reserve... (John Oehser on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: The Jaguars have shuffled their running back room with Grant (Lisfranc injury) being placed on IR, Wilds being released and David Williams called up from the practice squad. Yeldon will remain the running back to own with Leonard Fournette out with a hamstring injury. Niles Paul will move into the starting lineup with ASJ out with a core muscle injury.

Core muscle issue
By: Mike Krueger | Wed Sep 5, 12:02 pm
|Marrone said he (Austin Seferian-Jenkins) has been practicing recently with a “nagging” core muscle issue and was sore after attempting to catch a pass earlier this week.
“We’re just going to be smart about it,” he said, adding of Seferian-Jenkins’ status for Sunday, “I feel like he’ll play, but you never know. That’s me saying it; not him or the doctors.” (Jaguars.com)|
FFToday's Take: It sounds like the Jags tight end might listed as questionable this week when the official injury report comes out. The Giants gave up the most fantasy points to tight ends last season including 13 TDs.
