Injury Rookie WR Martavius Bryant could make debut
Dri Archer and Lance Moore ruled out
By: Jake Gordon | Wed Sep 10, 4:30 pm

Pittburgh Steelers
Running back Dri Archer has been ruled out this week with an ankle/foot injury suffered against the Browns, while Lance Moore (groin) will miss his second straight game. Rookie receiver Martavis Bryant (shoulder) returned to practice this week after missing the season opener against the Cleveland Browns and is listed as probable for the game. (Steelers.com)

FFToday's Take: The injuries to Dri Archer and Lance Moore in the passing game should open the door for Martavius Bryant to make his NFL debut. In deep leagues and dynasty formats, Bryant offers some long term upside. Archer's injury will likely result in Le'Veon Bell seeing all of the snaps on passing downs.

Wheaton looking to land starting role
Addition by subtraction
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Aug 1, 11:45 am

Pittburgh Steelers
Last year he (Markus Wheaton) was the fourth receiver on the depth chart behind Antonio Brown, Emmanuel Sanders and Jerricho Cotchery. Now, with the departure of Sanders (Denver) and Cotchery (Carolina) in free agency he has been elevated to the No. 2 receiver alongside Brown. (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette)

FFToday's Take: Wheaton will be competing with Lance Moore and fourth-round pick Martavis Bryant for Antonio Brown's scraps but there is some WR4 value to be had. Last year, the Steelers placed three fantasy receivers inside the top 35 at the position (Brown-7, Cotchery-30, Sanders-35) although attempting to decipher which No.2 wideout to be in your starting lineup will likely be a weekly headache for fantasy owners.

WR biggest question mark for Steelers' offense
A mix of veterans and rookies will fill the void
By: Mike Krueger | Sun Jul 20, 12:45 pm

Pittburgh Steelers
The main question on offense for 2014 was previously a team strength, that of wide receiver. After losing three of their top four receivers as free agents since March 2013, the Steelers have filled in with a combination of veteran free agents and rookie Martavis Bryant. Two-time Pro Bowler Antonio Brown, 26, is the constant, the star, and hopes to become their new leader. (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette)

FFToday's Take: The departure Emmanuel Sanders (DEN) and Jerricho Cotchery (CAR) leaves a big void that is projected to be filled by a combination of Lance Moore, Markus Wheaton and Bryant. Antonio Brown is deserving of low-end WR1 status and there's room in this offense for another receiver to be fantasy relevant but it's quite possible none of the three offseason additions will equal Cotchery's WR30 or Sanders' WR35 ranking from last season.
