|Martavis Bryant looking like his old self|
QB sings his praises following offseason workouts
By: Doug Orth | Mon Jun 19, 6:10 pm
|Per the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Brian Batko, Ben Roethlisberger believes Martavis Bryant is fitting in well after sitting out the entire 2016 season due to suspension.
"(He's) learning some of the stuff we put in last year he didn’t know about, remembering things that we had in before. He looks like a stud, as usual, so we’re excited for him to be on the field this year and help us out," Roethlisberger said. (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette)|
FFToday's Take: The Steelers are heading into a season where they have a real chance of getting Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown, Le'Veon Bell and Bryant on the field at the same time. Given his past, Bryant is a high-risk fantasy investment, but one capable of delivering week-winning weeks in just about any game. He has as much upside as any second receiver in the league and is a WR3 capable of playing at a WR2 level.
|Martavis Bryant conditionally reinstated|
Could be available Week 1 if he keeps his nose clean
By: Mike Krueger | Tue Apr 25, 6:30 pm
|The NFL notified Martavis Bryant of the Pittsburgh Steelers today that he has been reinstated to the NFL on a conditional basis.
Bryant may join the Steelers at the training facility and participate in meetings, conditioning work and similar activities. Once arrangements have been confirmed regarding Bryant's clinical resources in Pittsburgh, he will be permitted to participate in all preseason activities, including practices and games. FFToday's Take: Bryant still has some hurdles to jump if he wants to be on the field Week 1. He's been suspended since March of last season for multiple offenses of the leagues substance abuse policy. Bryant has shown to be a big play threat on the field but his off-field issues and risk of being kicked out of the league for another offense will submarine his fantasy stock.
