| Rashaad Penny out, Baldwin questionable|
Baldwin expected to play
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Dec 14, 4:30 pm
|The Seahawks have ruled out RB Rashaad Penny (knee) for Sunday's game. LB K.J. Wright (knee) and S Maurice Alexander (concussion) are also out. RG D.J. Fluker (hamstring) is doubtful. WR Doug Baldwin (hip), DT Jarran Reed (oblique) and S Bradley McDougald (knee) are questionable (Brady Henderson on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: The Seahawks will roll with Chris Carson and Mike Davis against the 49ers who represent a neutral matchup against running backs. Carson, Penny and Davis combined for 24 carries, 144 yards and 1 TD on the ground in their meeting two weeks ago. Baldwin was limited on Thursday and Friday but is expected to play.
| Chris Carson a gametime decision|
Missed practice Wednesday and Thursday
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Nov 9, 1:17 pm
|Pete Carroll told KIRO Radio 97.3 FM that running back Chris Carson (hip), right guard D.J. Fluker (calf) and strong safety Bradley McDougald (knee) will be game-time decisions Sunday against the Rams. All three sat out practice Wednesday and Thursday. "We’re trying to figure out how to manage their way through it and then find out nearer to game time if they can play for us, so we’re still waiting and seeing," Carroll said. (ESPN)|
FFToday's Take: We've learned you can't trust much of anything that Pete Carroll says when it comes to player injuries. Fantasy owners will need to have Plan B in place if Carson isn't able to play. Mike Davis would likely see the bulk of carries but Carroll could surprise us by dumping a bunch of touches on to rookie Rashaad Penny.
| Chris Carson listed as questionable|
Hip, groin injury
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Nov 2, 5:00 pm
|The Seahawks listed three key players as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Chargers - safety Bradley McDougald, linebacker K.J. Wright and running back Chris Carson.
Carroll also indicated that Carson will play. But Carroll made his status sound a little more uncertain.
"He’s just got a little groin thing he’s feeling," Carroll said. “So he got through today (Friday’s practice). He practiced every day this week. Just got to make sure on gameday that he’s okay. If not, we’ll go with other guys and move forward. We’ll see.’’ (Seattle Times)|
FFToday's Take: We've learned not to trust much of anything that comes out of Carroll's mouth. Unfortunately, the Seahawks play in a late-afternoon game on Sunday so we won't know Carson's status for sure until after the early games kick off. If Carson doesn't play, Mike Davis would get the start and likely see the bulk of the carries against the Chargers.
