|Randall Cobb finds new home in Dallas|
By: Mike Krueger | Tue Mar 19, 5:20 pm
|On Tuesday, Dallas came to an agreement with former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Randall Cobb on a one-year contract. The team announced the deal Tuesday afternoon. Cobb posted a career-high 1,287 receiving yards and 12 touchdowns in 2014 with Green Bay. He then signed a four-year, $40 million extension with the Packers and his production has gone down nearly every season. SportsDay's Jon Machota confirms Cobb's deal with Dallas is worth $5 million. (SportsDay)|
FFToday's Take: With Cole Beasley moving to the Bills this off-season, the Cowboys had a need for a slot receiver. Cobb dealt with hamstring and concussion issues last season limiting him to nine games and a 38-384-2 line. He's not likely to be a fantasy difference maker in the Cowboys run-first offense battling for targets with Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup and TE Jason Witten. Cobb will do well to return WR4 value in 2019.
|Bills reshaping WR corps with J. Brown, Beasley|
Downfield throwing Josh Allen gets another deep threat
By: Mike Krueger | Tue Mar 12, 12:46 pm
|The #Bills are signing WR Cole Beasley, per @MikeGarafolo. First John Brown, now Beasley.
Cole Beasley gets $17 million over the first two years of his deal with Buffalo, $14.4 million guaranteed. The #Cowboys wanted him back, but didn't come strong enough with the offers. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: The Bills receiving corps gets another deep threat in Brown and a slot receiver in Beasley. With Robert Foster, Zay Jones and Isaiah McKenzie already on the roster, the Bills seems set at receiver. Brown got off to a hot start in Baltimore last season, scoring 4 TDs in his first seven games, but his stats suffered once Lamar Jackson took over at QB and the Ravens became a run-first team.
