|Josh Gordon entering rehab|
Future with Browns in jeopardy
By: Doug Orth | Thu Sep 29, 7:30 pm
|Josh Gordon's Cleveland Browns comeback has hit another roadblock.
The wide receiver announced Thursday that he is entering an in-patient rehabilitation facility in an effort to "gain full control of my life." Gordon is eligible to play in the Browns' Week 5 contest against the New England Patriots as part of the terms of his NFL reinstatement for a substance abuse violation. Gordon's decision to enter rehab, however, puts his comeback on hold indefinitely. (NFL.com)|
FFToday's Take: Another setback for the surpremely talented wideout, although it shows progress he's confronting the problem personally this time around. There's simply no way of knowing how long Gordon will be away from the team and whether or not Cleveland will continue to stick with him. NFL.com's Ian Rapoport stated there is a "real chance" Gordon will never play another snap for the Browns. Given what we know at the moment, redraft owners should probably accept that possibility as well and move on.
|Browns not looking to part with Josh Gordon|
Multiple teams courting deal for embattled WR
By: Antonio D'Arcangelis | Tue Aug 23, 10:19 am
|ESPN's Adam Schefter said that multiple teams have reached out to the Browns to inquire about the availability of WR Josh Gordon, but that a Browns team source said they are not looking to trade him. (ESPN/ABC)|
FFToday's Take: Cleveland has tried to establish an environment in which Gordon could thrive, and many around league believe Hue Jackson would be the right coach for him. For now, Gordon is a mid-round pick with plenty of upside, but his value could increase if he ends up on a better team with a proven, healthy QB.
|Josh Gordon to be reinstated, 4-game suspension|
League makes it official

|Browns WR Josh Gordon is being reinstated, source said. He’s suspended for the first 4 games. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)|
FFToday's Take: Gordon is a multiple offender of the leagues substance abuse policy so while he's easily the most talented receiver on the Browns roster, he comes with a wide range of outcomes and thus a considerable amount of risk for fantasy owners. He'll likely settle in as a mid-round pick, WR4 in redraft leagues.
