Fined an additional two game checks
Browns receiver Josh Gordon has been suspended for the first two games of the 2013 season and fined an additional two game checks for violating the NFL substance abuse policy. (ESPN Cleveland)

FF Today's Take: Gordon tested positive for marijuana in college so he has been considered somewhat of an off-field risk. The risk becomes reality today. He will participate in pre-season practice and games but his fantasy value will take a hit. He will still hold value as a fantasy sleeper but it can't be realized until Week 3.

Second-year WR seems like perfect fit in deep-ball offense
The game comes outrageously easy for Josh Gordon, as he glides down the field. If Gordon keeps his concentration and work ethic at NFL caliber, he could have a breakout season in the new "throw it downfield" offense. (Cleveland Plain Dealer )

FF Today's Take: Gordon's talent is through the roof, as evidenced by the fact he posted a 50-805-5 as a rookie despite being as green as possible in an offense ill-suited for his (or Brandon Weeden's) talents. Gordon and TE Jordan Cameron are almost certain to experience dramatic spikes in production working in Norv Turner's vertical-based offense, so both players need to be considered as potential top 15 (if not top 10) fantasy players at their respective positions in 2013.
