2016 Outlook
Depth Chart
Filling the shoes of a perennial fantasy stud will certainly be a tall order for Marvin Jones, the Lions newest addition at wideout. Jones had a nice season last year for Cincinnati as he returned from a foot injury that cost him the entire 2014 season. As the third and sometimes fourth option in the passing game last year for the Bengals, Jones racked up a solid 65-816-4 line. Nothing about his final stats or weekly numbers pop off the page, but he finished as a WR3/4. More importantly, he scored 10 touchdowns in the season prior to his foot injury, and his size and frame should give him a prominent role, especially in the red zone. Listen, no one is replacing Megatronís annual 1300 yards and 12-plus touchdowns, but the opportunities will be there for Jones to set career highs in yards and catches. My biggest concern with his statistical output is the fact he failed to have big games, even when facing single coverage due to the presence of A.J. Green and Tyler Eifert. Other than a 12-target game at Buffalo in Week 6, Jones either never seemed to be a big part of the game plan, or simply couldnít get open enough. Golden Tate is going to lead this team in catches, but Jones has a chance to make an impact for your fantasy team, although Iíd be hard pressed to have him as anything more than a mid-level WR3.

Tyler Boyd looks like a starter in Cincinnati
Rookie now "unquestioned leader" in battle for No. 2 WR
By: Antonio D'Arcangelis | Tue Aug 23, 11:16 am

Cincinnati Bengals
On Monday, the Bengals lined up rookie wide receiver Tyler Boyd in a variety of ways during practice. With Marvin Jones (Lions) and Mohamed Sanu (Falcons) out of Cincinnati, Boyd could have an immediate fantasy impact. (Bengals.com)

FFToday's Take: Seven-year veteran Brandon LaFell returns to practice this week with a damaged ligament in his hand after a 10-day absence, but Boyd is the unquestioned leader in the clubhouse as they get set to gauge LaFell in Sundayís dress rehearsal in Jacksonville. Boyd could make a very sneaky late-round WR pick with massive upside.

Boldin expected to sign deal with Lions
One-year deal expected to be finalized today
By: Mike Krueger | Tue Jul 26, 2:05 pm

Detroit Lions
The Detroit Lions are planning to sign veteran wide receiver Anquan Boldin to a one-year deal, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter. Boldin and the Lions, who need depth at receiver in the wake of Calvin Johnson's retirement, were finalizing the deal Tuesday, sources told Schefter. (ESPN)

FFToday's Take: Boldin will be thrown into the mix with Golden Tate, Marvin Jones, Eric Ebron, T.J. Jones and receiving specialist Theo Riddick. Boldin has experience with Jim Caldwell from their days in Baltimore. He's likely more of a depth piece than a major contributor but he's still very capable of having a fantasy impact at age 35. He's shaping up to be a mid-to-late round draft pick with WR4/5 value.
