2015 Outlook
Depth Chart
The primary backup to Lynch since entering the league in 2012, Robert Turbin has been productive but not spectacular when given the opportunity. Heís averaged 4.0 yards per carry throughout his career, but has primarily been used as a third-down or change-of-pace back to complement Lynch, particularly in obvious passing situations. Turbin doesnít touch the ball enough to be fantasy relevant on his own unless Lynch goes down, but given the back injuries that have been causing Lynch problems over the past couple of seasons, there is a possibility Turbin will be given the chance to play more in 2015 in an effort to keep Lynch healthy down the stretch. Should Lynch go down with an injury, chances are that Turbin would be on the field more than Michael, so he remains the primary handcuff to Lynch even though Michael has better long-term prospects.

Rawls pushing Michael out of Seattle?
UDFA could make push for backup spot behind Marshawn Lynch
By: Doug Orth | Mon Jul 6, 4:15 pm

Seattle Seahawks
Robert Turbin is a quality backup with excellent blocking and receiving skills, but itís uncertain if heíll be ready to go for the start of the regular season after undergoing offseason hip surgery. Itís "step up or step out" time for Christine Michael. The Seattle coaches are high on Thomas Rawls, a free agent rookie from Central Michigan who started his college career at the University of Michigan. Pete Carroll loves Rawlsí toughness, seeing him as a bruising runner similar to Marshawn Lynch. Thatís not good news for Michael. Maybe the Seahawks could trade him for a late-round pick if they decide Rawls is the better option. (ESPN)

FFToday's Take: Lynch skipped voluntary workouts, Turbin did not participate at all in the spring and Michael nursed a hamstring for much of the offseason, giving Rawls plenty of opportunity to catch the coaches' eye. Regardless of what he's done (or hasn't done) to this point of his career, Michael will almost certainly get a chance to latch on somewhere else if he is traded or released. Dynasty owners should hold, even if this situation gets worse before it gets better.
