2015 Outlook
Depth Chart
Improving in each of his first three seasons in the league, Russell Wilson finally broke out as an elite fantasy option at the quarterback position this past season as he finished sixth with an impressive 23.4 fantasy points per game. Wilson did this despite the Seahawks rushing the ball as much and as successfully as any team in the league. Of course, a lot of the teamís rushing came from Wilson himself who became just the eighth quarterback to rush for 800 or more yards in a single season as he finished the year with 849 yards on the ground. His six rushing touchdowns led all quarterbacks in that department as well.

A 20-touchdown, seven-interception season with 3,475 yards is acceptable but not spectacular in todayís NFL. This was likely one reason why the team opted to make a huge offseason move by acquiring tight end Jimmy Graham from the New Orleans Saints. Graham, who has been among the elite at his position for quite a few seasons, brings new life to this Seattle passing game, particularly in the redzone where heís made 51 touchdown receptions during his five year career. This is still the Marshawn Lynch show close the goaline, but Grahamís jump ball skills add a new dimension to the offense which means we could see Wilsonís touchdown numbers inflate this season.

The biggest question regarding Wilson seems to be his ability to be productive as a pure pocket passer. Fortunately, that hasnít been much of a concern as of yet as heís stayed healthy thus far in his career while surprisingly avoiding big hits despite his propensity to run. Still, he is one hit away from a ďminorĒ knee, back, rib or other injury that could allow him to continue playing but might substantially limit his rushing numbers. Weíve seen this before from many run-heavy quarterbacks, so itís always a risk to select a player whose fantasy production is so dependent on him being fully healthy. Nevertheless, Wilsonís dual-threat ability gives him a high floor that few other quarterbacks can achieve. Heíll likely be a top four quarterback in most fantasy drafts and should produce numbers around that ADP so long as he stays healthy.

Injury Baldwin to be a game-time decision in Week 16?
Hamstring injury
By: Doug Orth | Thu Dec 24, 5:55 pm

Seattle Seahawks
Seahawks HC Pete Carroll said WR Doug Baldwin (hamstring) could be a game-day decision, but sounded optimistic about his chances. (John Boyle on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Baldwin has missed practice Wednesday and Thursday, meaning the injury should be of some concern to his owners. The hottest receiver in fantasy football at the moment has 10 touchdown catches in his last four games, so his absence would have a huge effect on any owner counting on Russell Wilson as well. In such an event, rookie Tyler Lockett would likely become Wilson's top target while Jermaine Kearse could be a serviceable WR3 option.
