Injury Emmanuel Sanders returns to practice
Sprained ankle
By: Mike Krueger | Wed Nov 1, 3:30 pm

Denver Broncos
Wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders and inside linebacker Todd Davis returned to practice as the Broncos moved closer to being back at full strength in advance of their Week 9 game against the Philadelphia Eagles. Sanders practiced after missing the last two games because of a sprained ankle suffered in the third quarter of the Oct. 15 loss to the New York Giants. (DenverBroncos.com)

FFToday's Take: Sanders is expected to play this week and will do so with Brock Osweiler as his quarterback. The Eagles have allowed the 14th most fantasy points to wide receivers. Sanders will be in the WR3 discussion for Week 9.

Siemian out, Osweiler in for Broncos
Denver makes change at quarterback
By: Jake Gordon | Wed Nov 1, 11:21 am

Denver Broncos
Brock Osweiler will replace Trevor Siemian as the starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos when they face the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, it was announced Wednesday. (ESPN.com)

FFToday's Take: Denver's passing offense continues to struggle and will now change on the fly with Brock Osweiler getting the first shot to take over as Trevor Siemian's replacement. Demaryius Thomas and the rest of Denver's pass catchers have a slightly better match up this week against the Eagles, however, the quarterback situation makes them very risky plays for Week 9.

Broncos QB situation a tangled mess
Trevor Siemian could yield to Paxton Lynch if a change is made
By: Antonio D'Arcangelis | Tue Oct 31, 10:25 am

Denver Broncos
Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) on Twitter: "Broncos are considering a QB change, only if a change is made, it likely would be to former first-round pick Paxton Lynch, per source." We also heard from Nicki Jhabvala on Twitter: "Joseph said he’ll go back and watch the film before deciding on QB situation. (Last week he was adamant on sticking with Siemian.)" (Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Trevor Siemian was horrendous on Monday night and even when he delivered the ball it was dropped by one of his WRs. There's just no value to be found in the Broncos passing game at the moment aside from deep PPR formats. If a change is made, expect Paxton Lynch, and not Brock Osweiler, to get the nod. This is a fantasy situation to avoid, if possible.

Kizer will start third pre-season game for Browns
Positioning himself to earn starting job heading into regular season
By: Mike Krueger | Wed Aug 23, 9:00 am

Cleveland Browns
On Wednesday morning, Hue Jackson named DeShone Kizer, the No. 52 overall pick out of Notre Dame, the Browns' starting quarterback over veteran Brock Osweiler -- at least for the Tampa Bay game Saturday night. Jackson said in a statement that Kizer starting the dress rehearsal game positions him well to start the season Sept. 10 against the Steelers at FirstEnergy Stadium, where he'll likely become the 27th quarterback to start a game for the Browns since 1999. (Cleveland Plain Dealer)

FFToday's Take: While it's not official, it appears Kizer will be under center Week 1 for the Browns. Brock Osweiler has failed to score on any of his six preseason drives. Kizer doesn't provide much fantasy value, but his rushing ability could be a second option in 2-QB leagues.

Browns HC Hue Jackson yet to name a starting QB
Cleveland signal caller should be decided by Wednesday
By: Antonio D'Arcangelis | Tue Aug 22, 9:25 am

Cleveland Browns
Hue Jackson said he's going to watch the tape to decide between Brock Osweiler and DeShone Kizer. "There were some things that I felt on the sidelines just being out there watching the game, calling the plays and watching how things happen. Like I told you guys, I hope by Wednesday of this upcoming week we will have a decision of where we are headed, and I think that is what we have to do." (ClevelandBrowns.com)

FFToday's Take: This is a tough situation, and without an established QB, neither portends to be all that successful in 2017. Still, the Browns could be playing from behind a lot and there could be some QB2 fantasy value at some point.
