Tannenbaum comments on Wallace, Stills
Dolphins management feels comfortable with Landry, Stills
By: Mike Krueger | Mon Mar 23, 1:45 pm

Miami Dolphins
"Mike Wallace contributed the last few years," Dolphins executive vice president of football operations Mike Tannenbaum said. "We felt once we had Kenny Stills, it was a good opportunity for [Wallace] in Minnesota. It gives him a chance to get a fresh start and for us with Kenny Stills in our offense and where we project him with Jarvis Landry we just thought it was the right fit to do that now. "He's (Stills) played in the league. He's had a fair amount of production. His production is what it is -- it's been good. It hasn't been prolific by any stretch but we felt for what we're asking that position to do there was explosiveness. And the routes he runs well were responsibilities we felt were pretty close to what we're going to do with our offense." (Miami Herald)

FFToday's Take: The Dolphins saw an opportunity to get a younger, cheaper version of Wallace and took it. Given the comments, it's safe to assume that Landry, Stills and tight end Jordan Cameron will be the top targets for Tannehill in 2015.

TE Charles Clay signs offer sheet with Bills
Miami has five days to match
By: Mike Krueger | Tue Mar 17, 7:37 pm

Buffalo Bills
The Buffalo Bills’ courtship of Charles Clay feels like it’s lasted longer than a Kardashian marriage. Whether the Miami Dolphins’ tight end actually gets hitched to the team wooing him is now up to his current employer. The Buffalo News learned Tuesday night that Clay has signed an offer sheet from the Bills. The Dolphins now have five days under the terms of the transition tag to decide whether they want to match the offer - which The News has learned is for five years and up to $38 million, with $20 million in guarantees - or let Clay go to their AFC East rivals. (Buffalo News)

FFToday's Take: It's being reported that the Bills offer includes $24.5 million over the first two seasons which could make it difficult to match. The deal is rich enough that it's likely Miami will let Clay go and move forward with newly signed tight end Jordan Cameron. Clay was given the transition tag by the Dolphins but won't receive any compensation if he jets for Buffalo.

TE Jordan Cameron to sign in Miami afterall?
After early reports linked him to Cleveland
By: Jake Gordon | Thu Mar 12, 8:00 pm

Cleveland Browns
After multiple media outlets reported the Browns were going to re-sign tight end Jordan Cameron comes another published report saying the Dolphins are now set to make a deal with one of the better unsigned players left on the market. According to Charles Robinson of Yahoo! Sports, the Dolphins are in the process of finishing up a deal, a Pro Bowler in 2013. However, if Cameron were to sign with Cleveland, Clay would seemingly most be in play for Buffalo or Miami. (ProFootballTalk.com)

FFToday's Take: It appears the Dolphins will win the Cameron sweepstakes but until the ink is dry no deal is official in this year's free agency. Cameron's fantasy potential may rise a bit while operating in a better pass offense, but he will need to first prove he is back to full strength after suiting up in only ten games during the 2014 regular season. Charles Clay figures to be a decent consolation prize as the next best option at the position.

Browns, OC Kyle Shanahan part ways
Split reportedly due to disagreement over Manziel
By: Doug Orth | Thu Jan 8, 5:15 pm

Cleveland Browns
The Cleveland Browns' tradition of change continues, as a team source told ESPN.com Thursday that OC Kyle Shanahan and QBs coach Dowell Loggains will not return next season. Shanahan resigned and Loggains was fired, according to a league source. Both spent one year with the Browns, and both were under contract for 2015. Sources familiar with the situation said the split was caused because the pair did not see eye to eye with the front office about QB Johnny Manziel. The front office wants Manziel to be the starter, and the source said the coaches do not believe they can win with him. (ESPN)

FFToday's Take: Good luck to the Browns finding another offensive mind that did what Shanahan did for their offense in 2014. The Browns were without three Pro Bowlers on offense for large portions of the season: C Alex Mack, TE Jordan Cameron and WR Josh Gordon. Despite that, the Browns scored at least 21 points in nine of the first 11 games. Shanahan's departure figures to have a significant impact on the fantasy values of every Cleveland player, particularly Isaiah Crowell and Terrance West.
