2015 Outlook
Depth Chart
Bradford missed the entire 2014 NFL season after sustaining his second serious knee injury in five seasons with the Rams. Injuries have proven to be the downfall of the former first overall selection former the University of Oklahoma star. When healthy, Bradford has been a solid fantasy performer as referenced by his 3702 yard, 21 touchdown performance in 2012. Although he finished the season out of the top-12 for fantasy quarterbacks, he did beat out a few big name performers like Jake Cutler and Philip Rivers. The problem is that he has managed to play 16 games only twice in his career and he enters camp this summer still rehabbing the knee injury that forced him to miss all of 2014.

On the plus side, he is joining an excellent offensive scheme that will take advantage of the experience he gained running a similar spread offense as a Sooner. He also is surrounded by the best offensive line and skill position players of his career, and a coach with a history of making subpar players like Nick Foles into fantasy stars. For owners looking for a quarterback ranked outside the top-12 who has the upside of delivering a top-10 season, look no further than Bradford. But be sure to have a viable second option given his injury risk.

Injury Bradford thinks he'll play Sunday
Seperated shoulder
By: Jake Gordon | Wed Dec 2, 6:00 pm

Philadelphia Eagles
After missing the last two games because of a concussion and a separated shoulder in his nonthrowing arm, Sam Bradford sounded optimistic Wednesday that he will return to the starting lineup this weekend. "I hope so," Bradford said. "I think, barring any setbacks, I expect to. But at the end of the day, that's going to be up to the coaching and training staff, if they feel that I'm ready to go out there and play at a high level." (Philly.com)

FFToday's Take: Mark Sanchez played decent over the past three weeks, yet his decision-making skills have the team hoping to get their starter back this weekend. Sam Bradford hasn't thrown multiple touchdown passes or eclipsed more than 300 passing yards in a single game since Week 5. He should give the team a better chance against the Patriots, but he remains outside the top ten starting fantasy options for Week 13.

Injury Eagles haven't yet named Thanksgiving QB
Mark Sanchez: "I know as much as you guys"
By: Antonio D'Arcangelis | Tue Nov 24, 1:38 pm

Philadelphia Eagles
Tim McManus on Twitter: "Sanchez says he hasn't been told whether he'll start. 'I know as much as you guys.'" (Twitter)

FFToday's Take: The QB position has been an unmitigated disaster for the Eagles this season, and while there have been some successes in Chip Kelly's system, the finished product leaves a lot to be desired. Mark Sanchez is probably the better bet for consistent production, since Sam Bradford is dealing with a bum shoulder and just got cleared from the concussion protocol. Whomever starts isn't more than a QB2 with some underwhelming upside.

Injury Bradford, Mathews out for the Eagles
Both suffered concussions in Week 10.
By: Mike Krueger | Fri Nov 20, 12:15 pm

Philadelphia Eagles
Already facing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers without quarterback Sam Bradford, the team will be without running back Ryan Mathews due to a concussion, the team announced. Left tackle Jason Peters (back) is also questionable. (NFL.com)

FFToday's Take: As expected, Mark Sanchez will get the start at quarterback while DeMarco Murray, Darren Sproles and Kenjon Barner will handle the running back duties. Murray's workload may not increase all that much with Mathews out but he may get an extra opportunity or two around the goaline.

Injury Bradford, Mathews miss practice Thursday
Both suffered concussion in Week 10
By: Mike Krueger | Thu Nov 19, 11:45 am

Philadelphia Eagles
Chip Kelly said that Sam Bradford and Ryan Mathews haven't cleared concussion protocol to practice. Jason Peters won't practice either. (Jeff McLane on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: Mark Sanchez is expected to start with Bradford suffering a concussion and shoulder injury in Week 10. He's a decent streamer option against a defense giving up the tenth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks. If Mathews sits, most analysts are expecting DeMarco Murray to absorb more action but Kenyon Barner will be active which may cut into Murray's expected bump in workload.

Injury Sam Bradford expected to miss next two games
Concussion and separated left shoulder
By: Doug Orth | Mon Nov 16, 5:05 pm

Philadelphia Eagles
It's Sanchize time in Philadelphia. NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Monday that Eagles starter Sam Bradford will likely miss next Sunday's game against the Buccaneers as well as the team's Thanksgiving matchup against the Lions after suffering a separated shoulder and a concussion during Sunday's loss to the Dolphins. (NFL.com)

FFToday's Take: Bradford enjoyed one of his better games of the season in a Week 9 win over Dallas and started out 19-of-25 for 236 yards against Miami on Sunday before exiting. Mark Sanchez will fill in for the former No. 1 overall pick and has a decent chance to lead the Eagles to a pair of wins over the Bucs this weekend and the Lions on Thanksgiving Day. Even with two juicy matchups ahead, owners should consider Sanchez a matchup-based starter at best.
