2015 Outlook
Depth Chart
Bradford missed the entire 2014 NFL season after sustaining his second serious knee injury in five seasons with the Rams. Injuries have proven to be the downfall of the former first overall selection former the University of Oklahoma star. When healthy, Bradford has been a solid fantasy performer as referenced by his 3702 yard, 21 touchdown performance in 2012. Although he finished the season out of the top-12 for fantasy quarterbacks, he did beat out a few big name performers like Jake Cutler and Philip Rivers. The problem is that he has managed to play 16 games only twice in his career and he enters camp this summer still rehabbing the knee injury that forced him to miss all of 2014.

On the plus side, he is joining an excellent offensive scheme that will take advantage of the experience he gained running a similar spread offense as a Sooner. He also is surrounded by the best offensive line and skill position players of his career, and a coach with a history of making subpar players like Nick Foles into fantasy stars. For owners looking for a quarterback ranked outside the top-12 who has the upside of delivering a top-10 season, look no further than Bradford. But be sure to have a viable second option given his injury risk.

Injury Bradford unlikely to suffer another ACL tear
Kelly: new QB's chances of avoiding re-injury at 88-90 percent
By: Doug Orth | Mon Jul 27, 5:35 pm

Philadelphia Eagles
The word the Eagles' doctors received from the Rams' doctors was that the 27-year-old Sam Bradford, coming off the second tear of his left ACL in less than a year's time, "was fine" and "was progressing." Further, there was no cartilage issues in the knee. On both occasions, it was just the ACL that was damaged. The Eagles did their own independent research as well and reached the conclusion that when it comes to ACLs, there is a 10-to-12 percent chance of re-injury. "So that’s an 88-to-90 percent chance that they’re going to be successful,” said Kelly. (Philly Mag: Birds 24/7)

FFToday's Take: Philly Mag: Birds 24/7 went on to say that it spoke with Dr. James L. Carey, who cited studies that show the probability of re-tearing a reconstructed ACL is about three to six percent. Meanwhile, the chances of tearing the other knee - or the "native ACL" - is higher, around nine to 12 percent - closer to the figures that Kelly used. Just like he was for the Eagles, Bradford is well worth the risk in fantasy drafts as a potential QB1 coming off the board around the 11th round.

Injury Bradford on track for start of training camp
QB is reportedly "looking great"
By: Doug Orth | Thu Jul 23, 6:00 pm

Philadelphia Eagles
According to a person familiar with the situation who requested anonymity, Sam Bradford is "looking great", has been in the rehab room close to every day this summer and should be ready to go when training camp opens. That means Bradford should be out on the field for 11-on-11 drills for the start of training camp. "If I'm not ready for 11 on 11 by training camp, then something has gone horribly wrong,'' Bradford said. "That's the plan right now. We're going to keep plugging away and be ready when camp starts." (NJ.com)

FFToday's Take: A healthy Bradford is the odds-on favorite to hold off Mark Sanchez and win the Eagles' quarterback competition. The bigger question will be whether or not Bradford's body - and specifically his left ACL - will cooperate. If he stays on the field for all 16 games for only the third time in his career, Bradford has a great shot of becoming a top-10 fantasy quarterback in redraft leagues this season.

Injury Bradford's health appears to be improving
"A little more mobile" in latest round of OTAs
By: Doug Orth | Mon Jun 8, 6:00 pm

Philadelphia Eagles
Sam Bradford (ACL) continued to progress in terms of how much he did in practice and looked a little more mobile than he had in the first two weeks of OTAs. Bradford told reporters after practice that he still couldn’t definitively say that he would be 100 percent ready for the start of training camp. As for how the other quarterbacks performed, Mark Sanchez had another Mark Sanchez-practice, in that he looked substantially better than he did a year ago this time. Sanchez took all the first-team reps. (Philadelphia Inquirer)

FFToday's Take: HC Chip Kelly has promised a legitimate competition, although one would have to think a healthy Bradford would win anything close to a tiebreaker with Sanchez. Regardless, this is good news for the ex-Jet, who appears to be making good progress from the shoulder injury that claimed his 2013 season and may have still affected him during his nine-game run in relief of Nick Foles last year.

NFL Draft Eagles made substantial offer for No.1 pick
QB Sam Bradford and 1st pick in 2016 were offered
By: Mike Krueger | Fri May 1, 9:00 am

Philadelphia Eagles
Per a source with knowledge of the situation, the Eagles offered the following to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the first pick in the draft: the 20th pick in this year’s draft; Philly’s first-round pick in 2016; quarterback Sam Bradford; and another player on the roster. (ProFootballTalk)

FFToday's Take: Chip Kelly's interest in Marcus Mariota was widely reported and speculated on over the last couple months and it's likely a similar package was offered to the Titans for the No.2 pick. The Eagles now have to find a way to kiss and makeup with Sam Bradford who's likely going to be their quarterback in 2015.
