2014 Outlook
Depth Chart
Jeremy Maclin tore his ACL in late July last offseason, forcing him to miss the entire 2013 season. He signed a one-year deal in February to stay with Philadelphia where he can likely build up his market value in the Eagles' high-flying offense. He has reportedly looked fantastic in OTAs and is expected to be 100 percent for training camp. Maclin has averaged 860 yards over the course of the four NFL seasons, but he has never surpassed 1,000 yards in a season. There's a very good chance that will change this season, as Maclin is likely to be the main beneficiary of Desean Jackson's departure. He should lead the team in targets. Maclin isn't the prototypical WR1 type at only 6'0, 198 lbs., but he has enough speed and direction to find open spaces and make things happen after the catch in the complex Chip Kelly passing attack. Like Jackson did in 2013, Maclin should have a career year with this offense.

Comment: I get the feeling Maclin is going to boom or bust in 2014. If he can stay on the field for all 16, he'll have his best season as a pro.

Injury Nick Foles (broken collarbone) out 6-8 weeks
Mark Sanchez to assume reins to offense
By: Antonio D'Arcangelis | Tue Nov 4, 9:40 am

Philadelphia Eagles
McLane posted "Looks more and more like Mark Sanchez at QB for the rest of the #Eagles season and possibly the playoffs." Both McLane and ESPN's Adam Schefter set Foles' timetable at 6-8 weeks, and that may even be on the optimistic side. Coming in cold off the bench Sunday, Sanchez completed 4-of-4 targets to Jeremy Maclin for gains of 52, 7, 21, and an eight-yard touchdown. Sanchez struggles to throw the ball outside the numbers, however, which could put a dent in Riley Cooper's already limited fantasy appeal. (Twitter (Jeff McLane))

FFToday's Take: McLane is the Eagles beat writer for the Philly Inquirer, and Chip Kelly sounded Monday as if Sanchez had a tenuous lock on the starting job the rest of the way. Given Sanchez's checkdown game, it's likely that we'll see more Zach Ertz and receptions for RBs LeSean McCoy and Darren Sproles going forward. Sanchez is worth an add in all formats in this potent offense.
