Ingram could flirt with 250 carries     -- Sun Jul 17 7:00 am --

Saints RB discussion
An interesting subplot for the season is how many carries Mark Ingram will receive. He finished with 226 carries over 13 games in 2014 and was on pace for 220 last season before suffering an injury that limited him to 12 games. If the defense improves, it's possible Ingram could flirt with 250 carries. If he adds another 50 catches out of the backfield, as he did last season, he could set career marks in touches. (New Orleans Adocate)

FF Today's Take: Beat writer Nick Underhill also suggested that Ingram could lose some touches to C.J. Spiller, if Spiller rebounds from his knee injury. However, Tim Hightower appears be the RB of choice for Ingram owners looking for a handcuff. Hightower took over lead back duties the last four weeks of 2015 averaging 82 rushing yards, 32 receiving yards and 1 TD per game.
