2015 Outlook
Depth Chart
Johnsonís hamstring injury in Week 4 torpedoed the hopes of many fantasy owners as one of fantasyís top rated wide receivers went on to finish the year with the lowest level of production of his career. By seasonís end, Johnson had appeared in just seven games, amassing 33 receptions for 492 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 11.2 fantasy points per game, the third worst performance of his nine-year career. Johnson will be 31 years old when the season starts and with 12 missed games over the past two seasons, there are legitimate concerns as to whether he can remain healthy for an entire year. Adding to those concerns is the arthroscopic surgery on his knee that he underwent in May. While his health is up for debate, Johnsonís talent remains top-notch and he will eat up plenty of targets in Houstonís passing attacked with no clear-cut starter opposite him and Owen Daniels seemingly in decline. Offsetting those positives is the fact the Texans are clearly a run first team. AJ is worthy of being drafted as a mid to lower tier WR1 in 2012 but the risk of grabbing him has never been higher.

Injury T.Y. Hilton not expected to play     -- Sun Nov 8 11:10 am --

Foot injury
Colts WR T.Y. Hilton, questionable with foot injury and said to be a game-time decision, is not expected to play today vs. Denver, per source. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

FF Today's Take: The Colts and Broncos play a late-afternoon game so check the Inactives to confirm but it sounds like Luck will be without one of his best weapons against the stout Broncos defense. Hilton did not practice this week. Expect Donte Moncrief and Andre Johnson to be the starting WRs. Temper your fantasy expectations for all Colts players.
Donte Moncrief earning high praise     -- Tue Sep 22 9:30 am --

Colts WR outshining veteran receivers with athletic catches
On a night when his more esteemed teammates could not gain any traction, Donte Moncrief picked up the slack for T.Y. Hilton and Andre Johnson. Moncrief caught seven passes (on eight targets) for 122 yards and a TD, a performance that ranks second in his career to a 133-yard performance against the Washington Redskins last season. (Indianapolis Star)

FF Today's Take: Moncrief has shown growth as a receiver this season, becoming more than just the one-dimensional deep threat he was, at times, last season. Fantasy owners (as well as the Colts) can only hope that growth continues as the teams looks for consistent offensive production.
Injury T.Y. Hilton likely out 1-2 weeks     -- Mon Sep 14 4:10 pm --

Knee bruise
The Indianapolis Colts could be without their No. 1 receiving threat for a couple weeks. T.Y. Hilton is day-to-day with a knee bruise, but NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reports the team will be cautious with their top target. Hilton could miss one to two games, depending on how the wideout feels, per a source informed of his condition. (

FF Today's Take: Donte Moncrief is the next man up for the Colts, who are plenty deep at receiver and can absorb the short-term loss of a player like Hilton better than just about any other team. A two-week absence means Hilton would return in Week 4 at home against Jacksonville. In the interim, Andre Johnson should serve as the team's top target, although he figures to have a daunting matchup in Week 2 against the Jets' Darrelle Revis. Phillip Dorsett is also worthy of being added in all leagues as well.
