OC: Vikings want to get Patterson more involved-- Thu Oct 9 6:00 pm --
Norv Turner "anxious" to get talented WR back in flow
Last week, Vikings WR Cordarrelle Patterson answered questions about his limited use in the offense by saying that he wasn’t going to lobby for more work because he trusted OC Norv Turner was doing the best things for the offense. Patterson joked that he may have to up the drama if things continue this way, but Turner repeated a familiar refrain of his own by saying that the team wanted to put the ball in Patterson’s hands more often.
“We’ve gone in every week anxious to get him involved. We’re trying to,” Turner said.(Pro Football Talk)
FF Today's Take:With Detroit's stingy pass defense coming to town this week, this game might not be the time for Patterson to get back on track. Still, it seems unlikely the supremely-talented second-year wideout will be a non-factor much longer, even if Minnesota has to manufacture touches for him to compensate for his raw route-running abilities.

FF Today's Take:It appears Teddy Bridgewater (ankle) is on track to start this weekend but he draws a tough matchup against the Lions. That's good news for Cordarrelle Patterson (hip) owners. Even though talented Vikings wideout has seen his fantasy value diminish in recent weeks he has a much better shot of producing with Bridgewater under center making him worthy of flex consideration for Week 6.
