FF Today's Take:It was fun while it lasted DeAngelo owners. It seems Tomlin will have no issues plugging Bell into a workhorse role Sunday night against the Chiefs. He's an RB1 with DeAngelo Williams returning to a pure handcuff role.
Le'Veon Bell's suspension reduced to 3 games-- Fri Aug 19 1:55 pm --
Eligible to return Week 4 against KC
Steelers' RB Le'Veon Bell is having his suspension reduced from 4 to 3 games, sources told ESPN.(Adam Schefter on Twitter)
FF Today's Take:Bell reportedly missed multiple drug tests so he should count his lucky stars the suspension was reduced at all. Bell will now be eligible to return Week 4 against the Chiefs. This does little to affect Bell's value in redraft leagues where's being drafted in early in Round 2.
Le'Veon Bell facing 4-game suspension-- Fri Jul 22 10:22 am --
Appeals process on-going
Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell is facing a four-game suspension for a violation of the NFL's drug policy, sources told ESPN's Dan Graziano. The suspension is the result of a missed drug test, not a failed one, sources said. The reason it hasn't been announced is that the appeal process is ongoing.(ESPN)
FF Today's Take:Bell was suspended two games last season after being charged with marijuana possession and DUI. If he misses the start of 2016, DeAngelo Williams will likely serve a workhorse roll as he did last season when Bell was suspended an injured. Bell's ADP is going to take a hit, however, when facing a two-game suspension prior to the start of 2015 Bell was being drafted 2nd overall behind Adrian Peterson. Expect him to fall further this time around but still be a late-first, early-second round pick.
