Injury Jordan Reed expected to be ready for camp     -- Sat Jul 11 3:00 pm --

Redskins feel insured with Niles Paul
Ongoing issues forced him (Jordan Reed) to have a procedure on his left knee this spring, and because of it, he spent the entire offseason rehabilitating rather than practicing in an offense that has undergone some tweaks. The Redskins believe that Reed will be ready to go by the start of training camp. However, itís hard to know if or how long coaches will be able to count on Reed. (Washington Post)

FF Today's Take: The Redskins gave re-signed Niles Paul to three-year, $6 million deal this offseason in large part due to Reed's inability to stay healthy. Reed has the athletic ability to be a difference maker at the position but his 12 games missed over the last two years is concerning for fantasy owners. Reed is a TE2 given his risk but capable of producing like a TE1 when healthy.
