Cleveland Browns

Johnny Manziel unlikely to play vs. Bucs
Misses practice again Wednesday
By: Jake Gordon | Aug 26 2015, 6:12 pm

Johnny Manziel missed practice again with a sore throwing elbow on Wednesday. Cleveland Browns coach Mike Pettine said there was no structural damage to the quarterback's elbow, but added it's looking like Manziel will miss Saturday's preseason game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, per the team's official website. "He's still experiencing a little soreness," Pettine said. "It hasn't bounced back. Err on side of caution." (NFL.com)

FFToday's Take: Josh McCown will enter the year as the team's starter with Johnny Manziel waiting in the wings to take over the starting gig. Now being kept out of action with a sore elbow, Manziel's fantasy stock remains relatively low for 2015. He has looked much better in the pocket and his effective scrambling capabilities add to his fantasy appeal if given a shot this year.
