Denver Broncos

Demaryius Thomas likely to play against HOU
Kubiak pleased with progress
By: Jake Gordon | Aug 15 2015, 7:20 pm

Denver Broncos coach Gary Kubiak said he's pleased with Demaryius Thomas' progress after he missed the offseason workouts because of contract negotiations. Kubiak said the starting receiver will play Saturday in Houston. How much will be determined by the coaches later this week. "I think he's ready to go play as long as Peyton (Manning) plays," Kubiak said. He said Manning will probably play through at least part of the second quarter. (Denver Post)

FFToday's Take: Demaryius Thomas is ready for game action and figures to lead the Broncos receiving corps again in 2015. With Emmanuel Sanders' nagging hamstring woes, Thomas should be Peyton Manning's top target right out of the gates this season.
