Panthers sign Greg Olsen to extension
Three-year contract extension through 2018

Record-setting tight end Greg Olsen has signed a three-year contract extension through the 2018 season. "Now to have this contract that guarantees that I'll play the rest of my career in Charlotte is a tremendous blessing. We're just so thankful for the team believing in me and wanting me to still be a part of this. As a team, we have a lot of special times ahead of us." (Panthers.com)

FFToday's Take: Olsen is coming off his best season as pro, cracking the 1000-yd receiving mark for the first time in his career. He ranked fourth among fantasy tight ends in 2014 and should maintain his TE1 status as the second receiving option for Cam Newton in Carolina.
