Browns agree with Josh McCown, 3-year deal
Hoyer not likely to be re-signed
By: Mike Krueger | Feb 27 2015, 5:45 pm

The Browns agreed to terms with Josh McCown, 35, on a three-year deal Friday after a bidding war between the Browns and Bills, who are now coached by Rex Ryan. McCown's signing decreases the chances that the Browns will re-sign Brian Hoyer. (Cleveland Plain Dealer)

FFToday's Take: The fact that there was a "bidding war" for McCown's services is good indication of just how weak the free agent quarterback class is this season. McCown is familiar with offensive coordinator John DeFilippo from their days in Oakland (2007) and is expected to serve as a mentor for Johnny Manziel. With no receiving options to speak of, McCown is nothing more than a QB2 in fantasy leagues.
