Cardinals and Fitzgerald close to new deal

Larry Fitzgerald and the Cardinals are closing in on a multiyear deal that would enable the veteran wide receiver to finish his career in Arizona, league sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter and Josh Weinfuss. (ESPN)

FFToday's Take: Fitzgerald's $16 million price tag is too expensive for the veteran who's production has declined in recent years. His two touchdowns in 2014 were the lowest season output of his career. Michael Floyd led the team in receiving with 841 yards and 6 touchdowns.
