Colts close to deal with WR Duron Carter
Cris' son getting his chance in the NFL
By: Mike Krueger | Jan 27 2015, 9:00 pm

Wide receiver Duron Carter is closing in on an agreement with the Indianapolis Colts, a source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. Carter, the son of Hall of Famer and current ESPN analyst Cris Carter, played for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League last season. (ESPN)

FFToday's Take: Carter (6-5, 210 pounds) spent the last two seasons in the CFL after going undrafted in 2013 largely due to off-field concerns. The Colts may have two spots open at wide receiver if they don't re-sign Hakeem Nicks (who was on a one-year deal) and if veteran Reggie Wayne decides to retire.
