Bills expected to hire Rex Ryan as head coach

The Buffalo Bills are putting the finishing touches on a deal that will make Rex Ryan their next head coach, sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. The hiring of Ryan would complete an extensive coaching search for the Bills, who have interviewed 12 candidates since Doug Marrone opted out of his contract on Dec. 31. (ESPN)

FFToday's Take: ESPN goes on to say that 49ers offensive coordinator Greg Roman would be Ryan's OC. Roman would likely bring a run-first offense to Buffalo especially considering the Bills may have no other option but to ride out EJ Manuel at quarterback in 2015. Kyle Orton has retired and the Bills do not have a first-round pick in this year's draft.
