Cowboys: DeMarco Murray can play with hand injury
Surgery deemed a success and injury "easily tolerated"
By: Antonio D'Arcangelis | Dec 16 2014, 10:15 am

Werder tweeted the following on Tuesday morning about DeMarco Murray: #Cowboys believe @DeMarcoMurray can play Sunday. Injury easily tolerated. Surgery successful, full healing in 6 weeks but no additional risk. (Ed Werder on Twitter)

FFToday's Take: This confirms fellow Cowboys beat writer Brian Broaddus' comments earlier today that Murray should be able to give it a go against the Colts. While there's some concern about his ability to handle pass blocking duties and catch passes, Murray's legs still look fresh and he's been a huge reason the Cowboys are 10-4 and atop the NFC East. Still -- Joseph Randle will likely see increased touches and makes for a smart waiver wire pickup.
