DeMarco Murray to have surgery on broken hand
Hasn't been ruled out for Week 16 yet
By: Mike Krueger | Dec 15 2014, 1:25 pm

Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray broke a bone in his hand and will have surgery on Monday, according to COO Stephen Jones. He has not been ruled out for Sunday’s game against Indianapolis. “Obviously, DeMarco Murray has a broken bone in his hand. At the same time, he hasn’t been ruled out,” said Jones with the G-Bag Nation on 105.3 The Fan. “It’s not something that if it responds well after surgery today, that he can’t come back and play this weekend. It’s probably a tough expectation to think that he can, but we’ll see.” (CBS DFW)

FFToday's Take: Bad news obviously for Murray owners as the Dallas RB is having a career year and a cornerstone for teams still in the playoffs. His availability for Week 16 will be determined later this week. Joseph Randle would likely be the starter if Murray sits with Lance Dunbar being used on passing downs.
