| Steelers plan to ride Bell for rest of season Following release of LeGarrette Blount By: Doug Orth | Nov 20 2014, 3:15 pm
| The Steelers are rolling the dice that Le'Veon Bell will remain injury free and able to keep up his heavy workload over the final month by not giving him much in the way of an experienced backup following the release of LeGarrette Blount. It's a chance the Steelers are willing and, more appropriately, have to take because they don't have many choices.
“We will take all he can give,” offensive coordinator Todd Haley said. “We will give all he can take.” (Pittsburgh Tribune-Review)
FFToday's Take: The Steelers don't have much of a choice, although Bell is a pretty good option to ride hard for the remainder of the season. At the moment, Pittsburgh's backup options are Josh Harris, LaDarius Perkins, Dri Archer and Will Johnson - with Harris and the newly-added Perkins easily the most likely ones to take over should Bell miss any time. With his upcoming schedule and no workload concerns, Bell could easily carry many owners to fantasy titles.
