Fred Jackson expects to play in Week 12
Groin injury
By: Doug Orth | Nov 17 2014, 3:30 pm

Bills HC Doug Marrone said last week that if their Week 11 game was on Sunday instead of Thursday night, he felt Fred Jackson would’ve been able to play in the game. on Thursday night however, he was scratched after tweaking his injured groin in practice Tuesday. Now Jackson fully anticipates being ready to go this coming Sunday against the Jets. The veteran running back also said the plan was to play in both the Chiefs and Dolphins games despite the quick turnaround of five days between them. (BuffaloBIlls.com)

FFToday's Take: Jackson said "the plan was to play both games", but he had a setback in practice last Tuesday. Expect a questionable tag this week. If he can play, he'll probably be a low-end RB2 in PPR and flex option in standard leagues in a difficult matchup. Jackson has juicy matchups against Cleveland (Week 13) and Oakland (Week 16) down the stretch. Expect Bryce Brown to continue in C.J. Spiller's old role while Anthony Dixon returns to his No. 3 role.
