Rashad Jennings takes scout-team reps
Limited in practice Thursday; recovering from sprained MCL
By: Doug Orth | Nov 6 2014, 4:30 pm

Rashad Jennings was a surprise participant in practice Thursday, warming up with the team and then taking some scout team reps later on. The Giants officially listed him as limited. "It’s getting close," Jennings said. "No setbacks. Felt like myself a little bit. Tomorrow I plan on doing the same thing, and just going from there." Jennings has missed the past three games with a sprained MCL. He was among the league leaders in rushing when he went down. (ESPN)

FFToday's Take: HC Tom Coughlin said Jennings "did pretty well", but did not speculate about his status for Sunday. Despite the optimism, the Giants have been cautious all along with Jennings, so it would be a surprise to see him play this week. It seems much more likely the team would give their running back one more week to make sure he is 100 percent, making him a decent bet to be on the field in Week 11 against the Niners. Andre Williams and Peyton Hillis will likely split time in the interim.
