Green likely in, Bernard possibly out in Week 9
WR healing from toe injury; Bernard dealing with hip injury
By: Doug Orth | Oct 30 2014, 4:50 pm

The Bengals look like they have a good chance of getting WR A.J. Green back in the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Jaguars as Green participated in practice again on Thursday. However, RB Giovani Bernard missed a second straight day of practice on Thursday because of the hip injury he suffered against Baltimore last weekend. Geoff Hobson of the team’s website reported Bernard’s absence and added that “you have to figure he’s going to be out” when the Bengals take the field against the Jaguars. (Pro Football Talk)

FFToday's Take: If Bernard is out, Jeremy Hill would be in line for low-end RB1/high-end RB2 production, even against an improving Jaguars' defense. Cedric Peerman and Rex Burkhead would be other backfield options. Green's return would be a boost to the fantasy stock of QB Andy Dalton, while Mohamed Sanu's consistency figures to suffer with the Bengals' top playmaker back in the lineup.
