New Orleans

Pierre Thomas ruled out, Ingram to carry load
Khiry Robinson listed as questionable
By: Jake Gordon | Oct 29 2014, 5:24 pm

Charlotte -- New Orleans Saints running back Pierre Thomas, linebacker David Hawthorne and fullback Austin Johnson are out for Thursday's game against the Carolina Panthers. Tight end Jimmy Graham, running back Khiry Robinson, linebacker Kyle Knox and center Jonathan Goodwin are listed as questionable. (Times-Picayune)

FFToday's Take: Saints running back Mark Ingram will get the bulk of the work on rushing downs while Travis Cadet will once again take over some of Pierre Thomas' role in the passing attack. The Panthers have been the fifth worst rush defense (135 rushing yards allowed per game) thus far in 2014 making Ingram a solid fantasy play this week. Meanwhile, Khiry Robinson (forearm) has not practiced all week and is unlikely to play despite being listed as questionable.
