New York Giants

Rashad Jennings in doubt for Week 9
Recovering from MCL sprain
By: Doug Orth | Oct 27 2014, 2:25 pm

The Giants had some reinforcements on the field in their first practice after the Week 8 bye. But one player was still conspicuously absent. RB Rashad Jennings, who has missed the last two weeks with an MCL sprain in his left knee, was nowhere to be found on the practice field. The Monday night meeting with the Colts is still seven days away, so Jennings has plenty of time to get healthy, but his absence remains somewhat concerning. (New York Daily News)

FFToday's Take: ESPN's Dan Graziano echoed similar thoughts after speaking with Jennings himself on Monday and coach Tom Coughlin told New Jersey Online "he's not ready to go". The Giants play on Monday Night Football in Week 9, meaning owners will probably either need to ride it out at least one more game with rookie Andre Williams or find another healthier alternative.
