TE Crockett Gillmore to start in place of Daniels
Owen Daniels has knee scoped
By: Mike Krueger | Oct 25 2014, 7:00 am

The Ravens will be shorthanded at tight end for Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals as veteran tight end Owen Daniels underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee after his injury didn’t improve this week. Daniels was officially ruled out on the injury report. Rookie tight end Crockett Gillmore will start in place of the two-time Pro Bowl selection. (Baltimore Sun)

FFToday's Take: It's conceivable that Daniels could return in Week 9 but there's no guarantee. The Ravens have already lost Dennis Pitta at the position and will now call on their rookie to fill the void. Crockett will be a TE2 against the Bengals this week.
