As the Washington Redskins left the practice field on Wednesday, tight end Jordan Reed lingered a couple of minutes longer to run some extra routes and catch passes from quarterback Kirk Cousins. The Redskins again classified Reed as limited following Wednesday’s session because he didn’t handle a full workload. But the second-year tight end expressed optimism, however, over the progress he has made and also said he hopes to play on Sunday if he doesn’t suffer any setbacks. (Washington Post) FFToday's Take: The Redskins were banking on big things from Jordan Reed this season so it is good news to see him practicing even if only on a limited basis. Even if he suits up this weekend he may be on a snap count.
