Cecil Shorts aggravates hamstring injury MRI scheduled for Monday By: Mike Krueger | Sep 29 2014, 7:00 am
Jaguars receiver Cecil Shorts’ star-crossed season continued when he sustained a left hamstring injury in the third quarter and left the game. "I felt a pull,” Shorts said. "It actually happened on the play before [the interception] when I was getting off the line. I beat [the defender] and was running when he grabbed me and I felt something pull." (Florida Times-Union)
FFToday's Take:Shorts will have an MRI to determine the extent of the damage. If and when he's cleared to play, the amount of injuries he's suffered through this season makes him unreliable for fantasy owners. Allen Hurns and Allen Robinson will likely be the leading receivers for Jacksonville in Week 5.
