Roddy White skips practice, expected to play Hamstring injury By: Mike Krueger | Sep 16 2014, 4:00 pm
Falcons wide receiver Roddy White suffered a hamstring injury and did not practice on Tuesday, but is expected to play against Tampa Bay on Thursday night. "It’s not important for Roddy to practice," Falcons coach Mike Smith said. "We’d like for Roddy to practice, but it’s all about getting Roddy on a short week … ready for Thursday. Our goal is to have Roddy as healthy as he can be for the ball game on Thursday night." (Atlanta Journal Constitution)
FFToday's Take:Sounds like White will be ready to go for Thursday night football. Tampa Bay ranks 18th in FPts Allowed to receivers but hasn't faced a passing attack like the Falcons over the first two weeks (CAR & STL). White is an WR2 in Week 3.
