| Adrian Peterson case "under review" by NFL Former New York prosecutor Lisa Friel reviewing Hardy case too By: Antonio D'Arcangelis | Sep 16 2014, 10:54 am
| The NFL says the Adrian Peterson and Greg Hardy cases are under review, according to Ed Werder's Twitter post. The Vikings reinstated Peterson Monday, but deferred any questions about further discipline to the league office. The NFL's new hire, former New York prosecutor Lisa Friel, is examining both cases. FFToday's Take: Whether the NFL has the power to step in and suspend Peterson before the case goes to trial is hard to assess, but FOX's Jay Glazer reported Sunday it falls under the new domestic violence policy, in which first-time offenders get a six-game ban. Our advice is to hold Matt Asiata until a clearer picture emerges.
