Eric Decker re-injures hamstring Jets wideout bothered by hamstring injury in preseason By: Mike Krueger | Sep 15 2014, 9:00 am
The New York Jets suffered a potentially costly injury Sunday, as wide receiver Eric Decker exited in the fourth quarter with a hamstring injury. It's the same hamstring that nagged Decker throughout training camp, except this time the injury is believed to be more severe. He will have tests Monday, presumably an MRI. (ESPN)
FFToday's Take:Decker is the key receiver for the Jets so his loss would be a significant blow to the offense. Jeremy Kerley is operating as the No.2 wideout. David Nelson would likely slide into a starting role if Decker misses any time.
