Welker unlikely to play this weekend Expected to be reinstated soon By: Mike Krueger | Sep 12 2014, 8:00 pm
Wes Welker is hours away from becoming resinstated as a Bronco. The 32 team union representatives approved the league's revised drug policy Friday afternoon. It's possible that by late Friday night — but most likely Saturday — Welker will have his four-game suspension rescinded and he would be placed on the Broncos' 53-man roster. It's also possible final approval by the NFL could take until Monday. (Denver Post)
FFToday's Take:Since the league has decided to changes the rules of their drug policy and apply these rules to players already suspended... after the season has started... it appears certain players will their suspensions reduced or wiped out all together. Welker is likely to be ready for game action in Week 3.
