Doug Martin questionable, expected to start
Head coach calls Martin "lead guy"
By: Mike Krueger | Sep 12 2014, 7:00 pm

Doug Martin practiced last week and, although he is listed as questionable for Sunday's game, is expected back in the lineup against the St. Louis Rams. "I've talked about how important Doug is to us," (Lovie) Smith said. "Just our running game in general, we were trying to get it going with all of our guys. Doug is our lead guy. We weren't able to for whatever reason this first game, but we'll stay committed to it." (Tampa Tribune)

FFToday's Take: Martin was removed from last week's game due to a knee injury but should get the start when the Bucs host the Rams on Sunday. Bobby Rainey will serve as Martin's backup. Martin has RB2 upside but needs a solid performance this week to ease the minds of his fantasy owners.
