Foster ready to go for Week 1
Texans running back didn't play in preaseason games
By: Mike Krueger | Sep 2 2014, 11:30 am

Asked how he felt, Arian Foster said, “Wonderful, physically. “I’m excited about that (Sunday’s regular-season opener against Washington). I can’t wait to play football.” Foster missed preseason because the Texans wanted to protect him from injury. He underwent season-ending back surgery in 2013. (Houston Chronicle)

FFToday's Take: The Texans played it safe with their star running back this preaseason choosing to sit him out of all four games. He's expected to ready to go on Sunday against the Redskins. Foster's injury risk concerned fantasy owners this summer and for good reason. He missed the majority of 2013 with a back injury and has piled up three seasons of 330-plus touches.
