Patriots acquire TE Tim Wright from Buccaneers
New England gives up G Logan Mankins

The Patriots have traded longtime Patriots guard Logan Mankins to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in exchange for tight end Tim Wright and a fourth round draft pick, the team confirmed. (Boston.com)

FFToday's Take: Wright finished 13 among fantasy tight ends last season and should fit well into the Patriots offense as they look to replace the void left by Aaron Hernandez. Rob Gronkowski (knee) and Michael Hoomanawanui are both dealing with injuries. Wright's fantasy value was non-existent in Tampa but he'll move into the TE2 discussion thanks to a change of scenery.
