| Monte Ball to suit up Saturday night Revovering from appendectomy on Aug. 4th By: Mike Krueger | Aug 23 2014, 11:30 am
| Broncos starters Von Miller and Montee Ball are expected to make their 2014 preseason debuts Saturday. Ball, the Broncos' top tailback, has been out since undergoing an appendectomy Aug. 4. He did little physically for two weeks, then was medically cleared for full practice participation Monday. Emmanuel Sanders, a starting receiver who missed the Broncos' preseason game Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers with a strained quad, also is expected to play. (Denver Post)
FFToday's Take: Ball began taking 11-on-11 reps Thursday. Don't expect a huge workload for Broncos projected starting tailback tonight but it is a good sign to see him active in the third preseason game. He remains a fantasy RB1 prospect in the late first or early second round or redraft leagues.
