| McCoy dealing with "small version of turf toe" Missed practice on Sunday, but returned on Monday By: Doug Orth | Aug 18 2014, 8:00 pm
| LeSean McCoy missed practice on Sunday with what he called “a small version of turf toe.” He returned to training camp at the NovaCare Complex on Monday and completed practice. “[Sunday] it was really, really hurting pretty bad," McCoy said. “It felt a little better [Monday], so I went for it.” McCoy said he injured the big toe on his left foot during a joint practice against the Patriots last week in New England. He told the media he had an MRI and X-rays on the toe and that he’s “fine.” After practice on Sunday, McCoy appeared frustrated and declined to answer questions about why he didn’t participate. FFToday's Take: It may be "small" to McCoy, but it could be a big deal to his fantasy owners. As the league's most elusive back, McCoy arguably needs healthy toes as much any player, so it is troublesome when he told CSN Philly that it bothers him when he tries to put pressure on the toe. Last year marked the first time McCoy has played a full season in the last four years, so his owners need to keep Darren Sproles and Chris Polk in mind on draft day.
