Giants list Hillis as No.2 running back Rookie Andre Williams has more fantasy value By: Mike Krueger | Aug 5 2014, 4:15 pm
Former "Madden" cover boy Peyton Hillis has moved up to No. 2 on the New York Giants' running back depth chart in the wake of Monday's news that former first-round pick David Wilson's career is over due to neck injuries. Hillis and rookie Andre Williams are the two backs who appear to have the best opportunities to take the snaps that had been slated for Wilson. (ESPN)
FFToday's Take:Rashad Jennings remains the favorite to lead the team in carries while the veteran Hillis and the rookie Williams strive to carve out their own role in the offense. Williams is the more talented runner and the better long-term fantasy bet. He will easily take over Hillis' No.2 role should he proved to be adequate in pass protection.
