Wheaton looking to land starting role
Addition by subtraction
By: Mike Krueger | Aug 1 2014, 11:45 am

Last year he (Markus Wheaton) was the fourth receiver on the depth chart behind Antonio Brown, Emmanuel Sanders and Jerricho Cotchery. Now, with the departure of Sanders (Denver) and Cotchery (Carolina) in free agency he has been elevated to the No. 2 receiver alongside Brown. (Pittsburgh Post-Gazette)

FFToday's Take: Wheaton will be competing with Lance Moore and fourth-round pick Martavis Bryant for Antonio Brown's scraps but there is some WR4 value to be had. Last year, the Steelers placed three fantasy receivers inside the top 35 at the position (Brown-7, Cotchery-30, Sanders-35) although attempting to decipher which No.2 wideout to be in your starting lineup will likely be a weekly headache for fantasy owners.
