Vick Ballard carted off with ankle injury

Indianapolis Colts running back Vick Ballard was carted off the practice field today after what appeared to be a left ankle injury suffered while running a pass pattern. There was no contact involved with the injury. (Indianapolis Star)

FFToday's Take: Ballard tore his ACL early last season so this is yet another setback for the Colts running back looking to carve out a backup role behind Trent Richardson. We'll have more on the extent of Ballard's injury when details become available.
