Jamaal Charles doesn't report to camp Wed.
Chiefs' RB considered a training camp holdout
By: Mike Krueger | Jul 23 2014, 4:06 pm

The Chiefs' 3 p.m. CT reporting deadline has passed and Jamaal Charles is not in camp, making him a holdout. First practice is Thurs. p.m. (Adam Teicher via Twitter)

FFToday's Take: One of best running backs in the game is seeking more money. Charles is under contract through 2015 but wants a new deal based on prior production. He's underpaid relatively to others at his position but the league-wide trend is not pay running backs. The Chiefs signed Charles to a six-year deal worth close to $28 million back in 2010. This is no time for fantasy owners to panic. It's hard to imagine this situation resulting in Charles missing any regular season games even if the "holdout" lasts well into training camp.
